中国社会経済制度の再定位

　本研究班は「近現代中国における社会経済制度の再編（2012～2015年度）」班、「転換期中国における社会経済制度」（2016年～2018年度）班を引き継ぐかたちで、中国近現代史研究の立場から制度史研究をさらに進展させていくものである。　
　本研究班は、社会・経済を規定している慣習・常識・規範・秩序・行動パターンといったものを「制度」とみなし、中国の制度の特殊性と普遍性を解明することを目的とする。申請者はこれまで、中国近現代史の実証研究に基づき、「近現代中国における社会経済制度の再編」班（2012～2015年度）、「転換期中国における社会経済制度」班（2016年～2019年度）、「近現代中国の制度とモデル」班（2020～2023年度）という3つの研究班を主催し、中国において歴史的に生成してきた社会・経済制度を研究してきた。しかし、そこで検討されてきた中国の制度が中国独自のものなのか、それとも他地域と共通するものであるのかを十分に明らかにすることができなかった。そこで本研究班では、日本・西欧以外の地域の制度と中国の制度を比較し、中国の制度を世界諸地域の制度の中に位置づけ、その特殊性と普遍性を解明していきたい。

Relocation of China's Socioeconomic Institutions

This research project regards the customs, common sense, norms, order, and behavior patterns that define society and the economy as "institutions” and aims to elucidate the uniqueness and universality of Chinese institutions. I organized three research projects, namely, Reorganization of Social and Economic Institutions in Modern China (2012-2016), Social and Economic Institutions in China during the Period of Transition (2016-2020), and Institutions and Models of Modern China (2020-2024) and explored the social and economic institutions that have historically emerged in China based on empirical studies of China's modern and contemporary history. However, whether the studied institutions are unique to China or common to other regions remained unclear. This research group aims to compare Chinese institutions with those of regions other than Japan and Western Europe, to locate Chinese institutions among the institutions in various areas, and to elucidate the uniqueness and universality of Chinese institutions.
